4-H Electric Program

Marshall County REMC is a long-time supporter of 4-H programs in our community, especially the 4-H Electric program.

Each year, we coordinate four 4-H Electric workshops where students are given the opportunity to learn about electricity and meet one-on-one with their division leaders.

The 4-H Electric program provides youth with educational information about electricity and how it can be used to benefit our everyday lifes.  The Electric program develops project skills such as safe practices, proper use of fuses and circuit breakers, proper lighting techniques and proper wiring techniques. The program also helps influence life skills like decision making, using science and technology and developing communication skills.
